A dysfunctional family of adult film stars reunites for a memorial porn shoot following the death of legendary producer, Mo Saltzman. Along the way, the film's hapless director must contend with dueling Divas, bickering couples, emotionally-scarred tag-team brothers, and a dominatrix with low self-esteem. Given its all-star cast and lofty pedigree, the film should be the greatest porno of all time. In the tradition of Waiting for Guffman and Spinal Tap, LOVE SHACK is a mockumentary that does for the adult film industry what Best in Show did for dog shows. Hilariously inappropriate!HOT TAMALE - DVD MovieA FILM THAT DEFIES THE GENRE AS WELL AS EXPECTATIONS, SOU! TH OF HEAVEN IS A BOLD ANTI-HERO ORIGIN STORY STEEPED WITH ATMOSPHERE AND ULTRA-VIOLENCE! When Roy Coop finished his stint in the Navy, he only had two things on his mind: seeing his brother Dale, and writing the great American novel. What he gets, however, is the homecoming from Hell! A pair of violent vaudevillians (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE's Jon Gries, and Thomas Jay Ryan) mistake him for his brother, looking to collect on a debt he didn't know he owed. Eight fingers later, Roy is burnt to a crisp, forged by fire into a new man. Roy is dead. Nobody is born. Now it's Nobody's turn to have his wicked revenge, and to save his brother before it's too late. Wrapped in bandages and ready for blood, Nobody is determined to kill those that get in his way, even the murdering masochist named Mad Dog Mantee (Shea Whigham, MACHETE and HBO's BOARDWALK EMPIRE). Dodging bullets and dodging dames, Nobody meets the nasty ne'er-do-wells Lily (Diora Baird, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNI! NG) and Veronica (Elina Lowensohn, SCHINDLER'S LIST). In this ! wonderfu l neo-film-noir, violence and vengeance are sure to meet in a little town they call... South of Heaven. Spring Days: Go Hyun-Jung (Sandglass), one of the original Korean TV drama megastars, returns after a ten-year hiatus for the eagerly anticipated mini-series Spring Days. With the combined star power of Go Hyun-Jung, plus Ji Jin-Hee (Dae Jang Geum, Love Letter) and Jo In-Sung (Something Happened in Bali), Spring Days is definitely not your ordinary K-drama series!

Loosely adapted from the popular Japanese drama, Heaven's Coins, Spring Days tells the gripping story of Suh Jung-Eun! (Go Hyun-Jung), an elusive beauty who has suffered a trauma so great that she loses the will to speak. Go Eun-Ho (Ji Jin-Hee) is the doctor who helps Jung-Eun find a way to overcome her past. But just when her gratitude starts to blossom into love, fate cruelly intervenes, leaving Eun-Ho in a coma. At the hospital Jung-Eun meets Eun-Ho's stepbrother Eun-Sup (Jo In-Sung), who is also a doctor. Despite his best intentions, Eun-Sup finds himself powerless to resist Jung-Eun. Latent rivalries and misunderstandings come to a boil as the two brothers vie for Jung-Eun's affection.

Featuring an all-star cast and a compelling story, Spring Days is a highly acclaimed 20-episode K-Drama for all seasons.

Someday: Hana Yamaguchi (Bae Doo-Na, The Host) is a successful young cartoonist. Although she writes romantic comics, she is analytical and pessimistic about love. Nicknamed the "Love Analyzer," Hana sees love as a simple biological response. But when h! er cartoon is discontinued, she sets off on a journey to disco! ver what love really is. A Korean TV drama with a touch of animation, Someday tells the story of three people's journey into the crazy world of love.

The first Korean drama to integrate animation and live action, Someday is like no drama that has come before. Through outstanding cinematography and visual design, this groundbreaking drama beautifully lenses Korea's contemporary urban landscape and peeks into the moody, imaginative world of a comic book artist. Written by movie screenwriter Kim Hee Jae (Hanbando), a "movie-like drama" with top-end production values, Someday features film star Bae Du Na (The Host), drama favorite Kim Min Joon (Lovers in Prague, Damo), and rising stars Lee Jin Wook and Oh Yoon Ah from Alone in Love. In contrast with its fanciful images, the drama stays candid and grounded in its exploration of modern relationships and romance, presenting a story that is both painfully realistic and longingly lighthearted.

Although Korean-Japane! se cartoonist Yamaguchi Hana (Bae Du Na) has found great success with her romantic comic books, she herself doesn't believe in love. Raised by her grandmother, she is content to live in her own world of writing and drawing, but one day her comic gets discontinued. Unceremoniously thrown back into the real world, Hana travels to Seoul where she meets Kim Seok Man (Lee Jin Wook), a kind-hearted private investigator with a tragic past, and Go Jin Pyo (Kim Min Joon), a doctor and ardent comic fan who observes life with a detached eye. As Hana retraces the tragic love story of her elderly neighbors with Seok Man and Jin Pyo's help, she realizes that she herself is experiencing love for the first time.

The film notably offers a soundtrack by ex-Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha and a cameo by punk rock legends The Ramones.
The DVD release includes a new audio commentary by noted film critic and Japanese pop culture journalist Patric! k Macias. LINDA LINDA LINDA was originally released in 2005 and follows an all-girl high school rock band after an untimely break-up. Only three days before their high school festival, guitarist Kei (Yu Kashii), drummer Kyoto (Aki Maeda of Battle Royale), and bassist Nozumi (Shiori Sekine) must recruit a new lead vocalist for their band. They choose an unlikely Korean exchange student Son (Doona Bae of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance), even though her comprehension of Japanese is a bit rough! It's a race against time as the group struggles to learn three tunes for the festival's rock concert -- including a classic '80s punk-pop song by the famous Japanese group The Blue Hearts called "Linda Linda."

From the dust jacket flap: "There was a soft sound from behind us.... The wereleopards were climbing off the bed, gliding towards us on human feet but moving as if there were muscles in their legs and hips and torsos that didn't exist in mine." Relax, the wereleopards are good guys. They're just being affectionate. In the first two collections of Anita Blake novels, readers met every kind of furred, fanged and tough-to-kill critter under the Moon. Now, in two ! brand new books, Anita is back, and she's taking on the Vampire High Council and a whole range of enemies new and old ... including her libido. So no matter which leopard pard, wolf pack or vampire call (that's the word for a bunch of vampires) you're a member of, walk softly around this woman. Her Browning 9mm automatic is handy. And her silver knives are as sharp as Laurell K. Hamilton's writing. And that cuts to the heart of dark adventure every time. The creepiest thing about Casper Meets Wendy is the title characters' romance--bashful, cutie pie Casper shouldn't be prone to weaknesses of the flesh (he is, after all, a ghost). And he's entirely too childlike to take up with a witch even of Wendy's decidedly non-wicked order. Still, sparks fly in this madcap jumble of a film, and so do the sort of zippy one-liners and presto-type magic tricks that'll keep kids from 6 to 12 spellbound. The plot is paper-thin: head honcho warlock Desmond Spellman (George Hamilton) is! obsessed with offing Wendy (Hilary Duff) after an oracle proc! laims he r powers to be on the upswing. He sends two goons to capture her at the Sunny Brite resort, where she and her haggish aunts (Teri Garr, Cathy Moriarty, and Shelley Duvall) are in hiding and where Casper and his trouble-making uncles are vacationing and causing random calamities. While Wendy and Casper hit it off, their more traditional-minded relations show off and swap insults. Nevertheless, the ghosts harbor a hush-hush respect the witches' unruliness, and it rears its head at just the right moment--when Wendy's about to be vaporized in Spellman's swirling vortex of doom. Were it not mildly fun to watch the trio of well-established older actresses suit up in witch costumes and crack wise, adults would find this film bordering on the unbearable. Kids, on the other hand, will want to set the record straight on its spook-tacularness. --Tammy La GorceSki School 2 Poster (11 x 17 Inches - 28cm x 44cm) (1995) Style A reproduction poster print

The relationship between the practice of public librarianship and the philosophy of intellectual freedom has been an uneasy one for a long time. The library controls access to information by the very act of selecting materials, and must, therefore, deal with censorship on a basic level. Are certain subjects, by their nature, the antithesis of community service? Professional standards give some guidance, but the attitudes brought by individual librarians to their work of book selection provide the final interpretation.

Curry has surveye! d a response group of practicing librarians (British and Canadian), asking provocative questions about their attitudes on materials selection. Her questions target some of the toughest questions librarians ever face; responses are presented in easy-to-understand graphs. Her analysis focuses on the factors--personal beliefs, professional ethics, political pressures--that influence responses. A final discussion covers managing the inevitable complaints from people and groups the selection policy has offended.

Curry's arguments and conclusions make fascinating reading. A must for all librarians, but especially public library directors, library faculty, advocates for intellectual freedom, and policy makers at all levels.Once Upon a Time in Mexico reproduction Approx. Debra Messing (TV's Will & Grace) shines in this hilarious romantic comedy about the surprising road to finding true love. Kat Ellis (Messing) is determined to attend her younger sister's wedding with a date. Rather than face the ridicule of her family and in order to show up her ex-fiance, she resorts to the Yellow Pages to find a last-minute escort, Nick (Dermot Mulroney, My Best Friend's Wedding). His dashing good looks and quick-witted charm may win over her family. But will they win over Kat? Follow the uplifting adventures of Molly Kagen (Messing), a Hollywood wife who must reinvent herself after being left by her movie executive husband. Jon Avnet (Fried Green Tomatoes) directs a dazzling ensemble cast, including Judy Davis (Husbands and Wives), Miranda Otto (Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers), Joe Mantegna (Bugsy) and Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls). Based on the bestselling novel by Gigi Levangie Grazer, this must-own 2-disc set includes all 6 liberating TV-hours of funny, empowering entertainment. Say "I do" to The Starter Wife on DVD!STARTER WIFE:SEASON 1 - DVD MovieDrawing from her years in Hollywood, Gigi Lavangie Grazer, wife of producer Brian Grazer, penned The Starter Wife, which inspired the limited series that launched this USA Network dramedy. Author Molly Kagan (Will and Grace's Debra M! essing) continues to forge a new life for herself after her divorce from Kenny (David Alan Basche, taking over from Ken Jacobson), a studio exec. In between petty battles with the high-powered wives who disdain her less affluent lifestyle and attempts to get back into the publishing game, the designer-clad mom pals around with Joan (Emmy winner Judy Davis), a recovering alcoholic, and Rodney (Chris Diamantopoulos), an interior designer. Her social circle expands when she befriends Liz (Danielle Nicolet), a pathologically possessive pitcher's spouse, and Zach (Hart Bochner), a writing instructor and possible love interest... if only Molly hadn't sworn off men.

So, while Rodney and Joan have affairs with actors--one in the closet, the other in recovery--Molly turns to screenwriting and a possible no-strings fling of her own. Fantasy sequences parodying hits like The Godfather and Body Heat represent her deepest fears. If the show's sole season gets off to a ! shaky start, it finds its footing once the central trio become! s more f ully rounded and relatable Though the rest of the year doesn't hit the same comedic heights as Will and Grace, Messing still comes on like a modern-day Rosalind Russell and The Starter Wife makes for light and frothy fun. In their commentary on two episodes, producers Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriot discuss the changes between the series and the miniseries, like the disappearance of Miranda Otto’s Cricket (just as Jacobson joined the cast of House, she joined the short-lived Cashmere Mafia). McGibbon, Parriot, Messing, and Bochner also comment on the 10 fantasy sequences. --Kathleen C.
